Lucas Massoth, MD

Dr. Lucas Massoth joined Pathology Laboratory Associates (PLA) in August 2023. He received his bachelor’s of science in Business Economics from the Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.

After attaining his medical degree from University of Oklahoma, Dr. Massoth trained at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School’s original and largest teaching hospital. There he completed both his Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency as well as fellowship training in Hematopathology, holding board certification in all three. Prior work experience includes employment with El Camino Pathology Medical Group servicing the El Camino Health system based in Mountain View, California.

There he served as medical director of the clinical chemistry lab and point-of-care testing while practicing Hematopathology, General Surgical Pathology, and Cytopathology. Dr. Massoth has pursued research concepts pertaining mainly to Hematopathology and General Surgical Pathology, with publications in multiple prestigious journals that include New England Journal of Medicine, Blood, Cell Med, Modern Pathology, American Journal of Surgical Pathology, JCO Precision Oncology, and The Oncologist.
