Evidence-based Medicine
By utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic criteria backed by evidence-based medicine, PLA’s pathologists continue to stay at the forefront of medicine. Evidence-based medicine is a technique that uses the critical appraisal of the most relevant and credible research combined with the pathologist's medical expertise, & consideration of patient preferences to provide a proper medical assessment.
Twice the Review Power
In addition to PLA pathologists using evidence based medicine, all specimens are reviewed by a minimum of two pathologists prior to results being delivered back to the referring physician, surgeon, or specialist. This allows a thorough review and consideration of each specimen with the intent to provide the most definitive patient results.
Results Fast
PLA provides extensive diagnostic capabilities with fast turnaround times to provide clients and patients with the results they need when it matters most. This allows our clients to concentrate on the demands of their practice and spend more time with patients.
