Paul Gillum, MD

Dr. Gillum and the Oklahoma Dermatopathology Institute merged with Pathology Laboratory Associates (PLA) in August of 2017.

Dr. Gillum completed his Bachelor of Science with distinction in Microbiology, his Doctoral Degree with outstanding distinction, and his Dermatology residency at the University of Oklahoma. He took his Dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Colorado under the guidance of Loren Golitz, subsequently returning to his faculty position at the University of Oklahoma in the Departments of Dermatology and Pathology. Dr. Gillum is Board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology.

Through his 28 year medical career, Dr. Gillum practiced Dermatology both in a private setting and at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Colorado. Dr. Gillum has served as Medical Director of the Oklahoma Dermatopathology Institute.

He currently continues his Dermatopathology practice with PLA and leads clinical trials as Principal Investigator and Sub-Investigator in the fields of Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry. He is the Medical Director of a regional NADO tissue bank, and is involved 3-D skin modeling research.
