Dr. Kim joined Pathology Laboratory Associates in August 2022. 

He earned his undergraduate degree at Rice University, majoring in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. He then earned his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University and was inducted into Sigma Sigma Phi. 

He completed residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Texas Health San Antonio where he served as co-chief resident. Following residency, he completed two fellowships in cytopathology and genitourinary pathology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
